Wood Wall Art: Running Free (Horses on the Beach)

I found this gorgeous piece of hickory in the pile, and immediately knew it was a scene. Over the knot in the middle, I inlaid a piece of maple dyed to look like the sun. I cut the piece specifically to bring out this hidden mountain.

The horses running along are cut from a variety of species, all showing the natural color of the wood. From left-to-right, they are:
