Each shield is cut out of maple or birch plywood, and has one of the classic designs printed directly onto the surface. The entire piece is protected with a thick layer of lacquer.
On the back, there's a picture hanging wire, so you can hang the piece directly on your wall. Or snap the faux-leather handhold on, and head into battle!
For an even more complete look, add a Classic Lego Sword and a matching mount, which can hold both in easy reach for quick access.
Note about the overprint variant: this shield was printed completely opaque, so the wood grain does not show through. It still looks great on its own, but might not match if you are ordering a set.
