Celebrate the trees of North America with this magnet of a non-native, but commonly seen favorite tree with fan-shaped leaves. The Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), native to East Asia, is found throughout the world in landscapes.
Ginkgo leaves are well-known for their amazing fall color, a vibrant yellow with tinges of orange at times. With the dyed versions of these leaves, I've tried to capture the color as best as possible.
Design
These magnets are made from solid poplar. The natural finished are simply coated in lacquer, while the dyed ones are hand-colored before being finished. The backs always have the name of the tree engraved, while the fronts can come in a variety of styles. Find the one that matches your personality!
Note: as these are handmade items made from natural wood, there is a wide array of appearance in the magnets. Some are flat, some are curved, and the grain itself varies in color and detail. For the dyed ones, a random one will be selected. If you have a particular style you'd like, please add it as a note with your order and I'll do my best to accommodate you!
