Design + Develop New Website
- The Task
Katie's Spa is a boutique spa designed to help individuals who are having difficulty in their lives. As an example, Katie's Spa as a dedicated wig boutique to help cancer patients deal with hair loss, as well as a trained masseuse for helping with associated aches and pains.
Katie's Spa needed a web presense — and in a hurry! They had a featured segment coming up on the local news, and wanted to be able to provide a web address for interested viewers.
- The Challenge
The main goal with this website was to get a strong presense out as quickly as possible. Not only did Katie's need an address to link to, they wanted content to be available for potential customers.
- The Result
I was not only able to develop the website in this time, but also to get a lot of content added and fleshed out. I used existing professional photographs to add a lot of personal touches to the website, with just a few stock photos to round out some areas.
The final website, which you can visit directly by clicking this link, offers a lot of content for new customers to read through, and includes pricing for most of the service offerings. Most importantly, I was able to design (from scratch), develop, and deploy this website in about a week, ensuring that the news program would have a website to visit.
