Design + Develop New Website
- The Task
Dynamic Design needed a marketing website to help start a wholesale headwear business. The products being sold were targeted at boutiques who focused on aiding cancer patients, as well as alopecia patients.
- The Design
The client did not have a specific design in mind for the website, but did have some starting points from a rough draft of the brochure. Starting with this information, I developed several design variations that worked with some of the existing graphical elements, while enhancing them for digital presentation.
- The Photographs
-
Due to the large number of products available, I helped the owner set up a digital studio to take high-quality photographs of the 75 style and color variations (not all of which are in use on the website). Each image was then uploaded using a custom web application, cropped on-line, and resampled to five different sizes. - The Website
-
The final website, which you can visit directly by clicking this link, has been a success, already attracting customers. Customers can not only easily see all of the various styles and colors, but they are also able to make wholesale orders directly from the website. The order form can also be printed and faxed, if preferred.
The website also has an administrator the client uses to make changes. This tool allows for almost every piece of text on the website to be updated, as well as adding and removing headwear styles, colors, and photos.
You can see previews of the website and the adminstrative interface below.
