- The Task
Create a completely custom book for the audio/video systems installed in customer homes. Each system is different, so each book must be tailored to the specific system.
- The Challenge
These books need to be created regularly, by the installers for the job. The books need to be prepared in a relatively short window - as little as 2 weeks.
- The Solution
The books were designed from the ground up to allow the installers to pick and choose from several default systems. These sections would then have a few areas updated to reflect the specifics of the system design.
After updating, the original document is be converted into a PDF, and sent off to a self-publishing company. Optionally, the content may be burned to a pre-printed CD-ROM, using a customized CD-ROM template.
